While sports injuries or car accidents understandably cause back pain, sometimes the simplest of movements—for example, picking up a pencil from the floor— can have painful results. This is often due to chronic poor posture, arthritis, or even carrying a few extra pounds; each of which carry a high risk factor for developing back pain and degenerative joints. Most cases of back pain are mechanical or non-organic—meaning they are not caused by cancer or infection – and respond well to chiropractic care.
In many cases, our chiropractic care may be the only method of treatment needed to relieve your pain. When other medical conditions exist, the chiropractic care we provide may complement or support your other treatment by relieving the musculoskeletal aspects associated with your condition. The doctors at Banic Chiropractic will readily refer patients to the appropriate health care provider when chiropractic care is not suitable for your condition, or if your condition warrants co-management in conjunction with other members of your health care team.

- "The overwhelming body of evidence demonstrates that chiropractic management of low back pain is greatly superior to medical management in terms of scientific validity, safety, cost-effectiveness, and patient satisfaction." Manga Report
